Conference organizers are launching klik to help Premium Pass holders connect with one another.
Premium Pass holders at this year’s HR Technology Conference & Exposition, Oct. 1-4 in Las Vegas, will get an added tech-driven networking boost with the introduction of klik, a complete event-management platform comprised of smart wearables, a set of native features, an app and even an open API.
By using their smart badges, Premium Pass holders can easily “klik” with fellow Premium Pass attendees to exchange contact information and other networking advantages, including:
- receiving additional content from exhibitors;
- the opportunity to to play “TechAdventure” to earn points for a chance to win up to $500 in Visa gift cards;
- easily finding peers to discuss common challenges at the Oct. 3 Networking Luncheon; and
- viewing connections and seeing the TechAdventure leader board.
All Premium Pass holders need to do is go to the klik section in the HR Tech Mobile App and request a password link to log into the dashboard.
Thursday’s Workday-sponsored networking Networking Lunch, in the Palazzo Ballroom from noon to 1:15 p.m., will be a chance to put the klik app through its paces. To help Premium Pass holders make meaningful connections at the luncheon, the klik smart badge will light up with a certain color. Attendees just go to a table of the same color where they will find like-minded peers looking to engage in dynamic conversations based on provided discussion topics.
“A major reason we are using klik this year is because attendees have requested more networking than in past years,” says Amanda Kyle, director of conference operations at LRP Media Group. “For the luncheon, we will be dividing attendees into specific groups and giving them discussion topics that we hope will lead to the strong networking outcomes and opportunities they requested.”
